Scot Yocum is a highly skilled trainer at Body Conversions and is also the assessments coordinator. He is a 1993 Graduate of Florida State University, with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
His work experience includes a former position as the Health and Wellness Specialist with St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida, where he worked with special populations including cardiac rehab, arthritic, diabetic, low back/spinal surgery and prenatal/postpartum patients. He has also served as Director of Industrial Rehabilitation at Rehab Associates, LLC, Thomasville and Valdosta, GA.
Scot holds 17-years of personal training experience with focus primarily on sports-specific training and young athletes.
Currently Scot is working toward certification as USAT Level 1 Coach (USA Triathlon).
His hobbies are: active cyclist, runner and triathlete; training pointing dogs and retrievers; and bird hunting.
